In addition to being extremely effective against ventricular fibrillation, which is said to be a cause of sudden death, the device has recently gained prominence as an “anti-arrhythmic device” capable of treating both bradyarrhythmia and tachyarrhythmia due to its advanced pacing function.

Catheters used for radiofrequency catheter ablation, which is a curative treatment for tachyarrhythmias. Radiofrequency catheter ablation works by applying radiofrequency current through the electrode at the tip of the catheter to ablate the part causing tachycardia. For this reason, catheter ablation includes a temperature sensor, allowing continuous monitoring of the temperature at the site.
A system that constructs 3D images of the heart's interior, visualizes electrical circuits, and supports diagnosis and treatment. It visualizes catheters inserted into the heart chambers on screen, assisting the operator with catheter manipulation. It also contributes to reducing surgery time and X-ray exposure time.
